Pillar Table
Pillar
Bellavista & Piccini, 2020
The PILLAR table was born from the observation of the truly majestic structure of the Palazzo del Lavoro created by Pier Luigi Nervi and Gio Ponti. Sixteen concrete pillars, sixteen “Trees” connected by simple skylights. The idea is to create four legs which, like columns in the upper part have circular capitals inserted into the table plane.
The Pillar table, combines in a soft way a subtle fusion of structure and volume.
